Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and complete full-cycle recruitment organization wide.
  • Identify and engage passive talent.
  • Research new/ trending recruitment and sourcing strategies/methods.
  • Maintain an internal resume database.
  • Research and identify relevant industry networking events to attend.
  • Complete HR Analysis regarding performance, retention, and budget.
  • Create and organize filing and tracking for the HR Department.
  • Create and update company branding to aid with recruitment.
  • Maintain and actively seek opportunities to improve the current positive workplace culture.
  • Manage and conduct the employee on-boarding process.
  • Assist with improving the current training program and maintaining it.
  • Complete staff terminations.
  • Benefits and payroll support as needed. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • College or University degree/diploma in Human Resources Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 - 3 years’ work experience in recruiting required; prior recruitment experience in the Engineering industry is an asset.
  • Previous experience with engaging passive talent.
  • Familiarity with Boolean search strings is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills are required.
  • Strong relationship management skills are required.
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work.
